PROCEDURE TO  DOCUMENT EXISTING CONDITIONS
FROM 3D SCAN TO REVIT OR AUTOCAD.

For Retail spaces, Lobbies, Apartments, Full floor rentals, Full building.

1. Create 3D point cloud with scanner and process scan.
    (upload to matterport for offsite walk thru capabilities online)
     
2. Create Revit or Autocad elements to match point cloud scan

3. The result is a Revit  (BIM) or Autocad model that accurately
    represents all existing conditions  

4. The Revit model can be converted to any 3D or 2D format.
    DWG, DXF, IFC, NWD, PDF, JPG etc...for use in other programs.


What is a point cloud?

A point cloud is a set of data points in space. Point clouds are produced by 3D scanners to create accurate 3D representations of existing structures. Point cloud files support the design and construction process by providing real-world context where you can recreate the referenced objects as an accurate 3D Building Information Model (BIM).
